I’ve had the pleasure of visiting the Atlantis in Dubai countless times, and each experience has been truly wonderful. As someone with celiac disease, traveling can sometimes be a concern, but the Atlantis has consistently exceeded my expectations.
They are remarkably celiac-aware, making dining a delightful and stress-free experience. While there are a few spots where I recommend speaking with the staff beforehand, the overall service and attention to dietary needs are exceptional. The Atlantis truly goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable and enjoyable stay for everyone!
Be cautious:
Wavehouse
They removed their gluten free menu when we were visiting in 2024.
Bread Street Kitchen
They also removed their gluten free menu.
Saffron/Kaleidiscope
This is a buffet, so as a celiac not the best option at the Atlantis. They are pretty good for breakfast though, just ask to speak to the chef beforehand.
Poolside Ordering
The ordering system by the pool can sometimes cause mixups, however there are two really good places you just need to get up and walk to - and then you can take it back to your sun lounger if you want - see below.
Excellent Celiac and Gluten Free Options
Ayamna
Lebanese food, they were gluten free aware and a lot of the menu is naturally gluten free. Worth a trip!
Seafire Steakhouse
100% recommend this place, food was excellent, they had gluten free bread and were very well prepared for gluten free.
En Fuego
The manager came to my table before and brought the head chef who went through what he can prepare for me. Amazing experience and will be going back there again!
Studio Frantzen
Very well prepared on gluten free and celiac. Gluten free bread was offered and the food was impeccable. This was one of our favourites.
Hakkasan
They had a specific gluten free menu and food was really good. Fun experience and would recommend.
Nobu
Again they had a specific gluten free menu and every care was taken. It’s also an amazing experience at the top of the building.
Pool Bars
The Shore
This is Tex-Mex by the main pool, but you cannot order from your sun lounger. Being Mexican a lot of things are naturally gluten free, and they are very good and prepared. Ate here lots of times and had no issues.
The Edge
The other side of the main pool is an Italian. I spoke with the guy doing pizzas outside, and he told me that he makes homemade gluten free pizza dough each morning. He prepares it separately and they have a separate oven. It’s good! They also do gluten free pasta if you want.
